Network.dataSent event missing documentation/PDL

The Network.dataSent() API was added in #58645, but the corresponding event was not added to the schema, which is causing issues with downstream tooling.

Would you mind pointing out which schema that needs to be updated? And which downstream tooling is affected?

I was referring to node_protocol.pdl. It's obviously a bit of a strange one, in that the "event" provided to Network.dataSent() never actually gets sent to the frontend, but at the moment there's no specification for the data passed to the agent here, in contrast to the other Network methods that do correspond to frontend events.

@types/node derives its inspector types from the PDL, and the tooling currently has no way of inferring the dataSent params.

The API is not deemed to be identical to the protocol. The pdl file is only meant to be consumed by the devtools frontend, not the API caller.

Does dataSent need some specific documentation, then, if the event isn't part of the DevTools protocol and isn't outlined anywhere else?

Yes, they need to be documented. Still, they are in active development and may be changed significantly.
