How do I get a png instead of a photo

What do you mean by png instead of a photo? Can you give some additional context?

If you are using PicsArt:

1. Open PicsArt
2. Select your photo
3. Tap Next/Tools
4. Tap Save
5. Choose PNG as the format before exporting

That will save the image as a PNG file instead of JPG/photo format.
